Chilean Myrtle – Luma apiculata

Fruit: Dark blue, edible berries
Size: Grows up to 180-240cm
Produces masses of pretty, scented pure white flowers in mid-summer, attracting the bees and butterflies. They are followed by an abundance of soft, purple, aromatic berries which have a special hint of spice that can be used to make sauces and jam.
